The Chinese word 充足 (chōngzú) means "sufficient", "adequate", or "enough". It is composed of two characters: 充 (chōng), which means "full" or "abundant", and 足 (zú), which means "foot" or "enough". The original meaning of 充足 was "to have enough food and clothing", but it has since been extended to mean "sufficient" or "adequate" in a more general sense. For example, we can say 充足的睡眠 (chōngzú de shuìmiàn) to mean "sufficient sleep" or 充足的资金 (chōngzú de zījīn) to mean "sufficient funds". The word 充足 can also be used as a verb, meaning "to make sufficient" or "to fill up". For example, we can say 充足库存 (chōngzú kùcún) to mean "to replenish stock" or 充足能量 (chōngzú néngliàng) to mean "to recharge energy".
