The Chinese word 就算 (jiù suàn) is a conjunction that means "even if" or "even though". It is composed of two characters: 就算 (jiù suàn), which means "even if" or "even though", and 算 (suàn), which means "to count" or "to calculate". The character 就算 is often used in conditional sentences to express a hypothetical situation or to make a concession.
