The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is a standardized test of Chinese language proficiency designed for non-native speakers. Administered by the Hanban, an agency affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education, this test has evolved to better reflect real-world language usage and comprehensive communication abilities.
